Back in the 70's, when The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show was discontinued I had a chance to buy Mr. Peabody's Way-Back Machine... So I did. I keep it in my garage for occasional use – right next to a broken lawn mower that I will fix, someday.
I found this news about a 2,800-Year-Old Castle discovered in Turkey amazing and intriguing... Wow!
So I fired up the Way-Back Machine yesterday afternoon and made a quick trip to find out more about this Enigmatic Ancient Civilization.
The Castle was busy when I arrived. Thank goodness I was wearing some Aramaic-style clothing – which I had at hand because I dressed up as Moses last Halloween. Perfect, I fit right in. I found a bright looking young Castle-dude to talk to.
Me: Hey hey, dude, could I ask you a couple questions?
Dude: Yes, you could, but will you? That's a different question.
Me: What's life like in your Enigmatic Ancient Civilization?
Dude: Life here, like life everywhere is mysterious. Are we awake or asleep? Are we men dreaming that we are butterflies or butterflies dreaming that we are men. We flit about for a brief moment and blow away like dust in the wind.
Me: Jeez, you guys ARE enigmatic
